Support for regularisation is growing!

Dear Endorsers

Thank you for taking a stand with the undocumented in Ireland and supporting our call for a regularisation scheme.

The JFU campaign is stronger than ever. Every day more and more undocumented migrants are coming out of the shadows and reaching out to us here in MRCI. Inspired by the resilience and courage of our leaders over 1200 migrants have now joined the JFU effort. There is a growing momentum of support building for our regularisation proposal which you have all endorsed. Before the Summer recess the Justice Committee agreed this was a top priority. A huge majority of the Irish public agreed it was time for a regularisation. And inspiring young people told their story of growing up undocumented in Ireland. Thanks to your efforts the Minister is under increasing pressure to respond to this fair and common sense solution. In a meeting with officials last week we heard that your organisation’s letters are having an impact.

Haven’t sent in your letter to the Minister as of yet?

NOW is a great time to do it! Email for templates to aid taking action. The JFU graphic above illustrating all of your logos is available on twitter @MigrantRightsIR and on Face Book – please feel free to share proudly!

Finally a warm welcome to our new endorsers who have signed up to support regularisation for the undocumented in Ireland: the ISPCC, Crosscare, the Conference of Religious in Ireland, New Communities Partnership, the Community Workers Cooperative, Youth Work Ireland, Young Christian Workers, ENAR Ireland, EAPN Ireland, the Irish Missionary Union and Swan Youth Centre. We are incredibly grateful to all of our endorsers for your support and solidarity
