| World Congress on Basic Income comes to Dublin |

The 12th International Congress of the Basic Income Earth Network (BIEN) will be held on June 20-21 in Dublin, Ireland and will address the theme: Inequality and Development in a Globalised Economy - The Basic Income Option. This two-day event involving participants from all the continents of the world will be preceded by a one-day event (June 19, 2008) which will focus on Ireland and will be open to all participants in the World Congress. The 'Ireland Day' will be CORI Justice's 20th annual Social Policy Conference and on this occasion is organised in association with BIEN Ireland. The Congress will combine four plenary sessions and twenty five parallel workshops over its two days. There will be more than 75 papers presented and the Congress will be attended by people from all the continents of the world. Details of the Congress programme are available here.
