The Romanian Orthodox Parish in Dublin numbers about 250 parishioners. They are in the process of building a church and parish centre in Broadstone in the north city centre. The project is being directed by the present parish priest Dr Irineu Craciun who has recently been joined by a young curate, Fr. Peter.
The parish cannot afford to support two priests financially so Fr. Peter goes to work daily as a builders’ labourer. He has a wife and a young child and they are appealing to any religious group who might have a property to rent in the north inner city.
